Demand Democracy

The time has come to demand full democracy for DC in a much more aggressive and persistent campaign. You can help us achieve that goal.

The DC Democracy Movement is at a critical point. We need to dramatically increase pressure on the Congress to end DC's second-class citizenship. To accomplish that goal, The DC Government must engage in more direct and confrontational challenges to force Congress to take action. With your help, our new Demand Democracy Campaign will provide opportunities and a framework for these protests.

In July, we asked for your ideas on direct action the DC Government should take. DC Vote will be taking these suggestions to the DC Council and continuing discussions on ways to demand full democracy from Congress.
